Pumpkins in our Patch

Today on our adventure outside exploring our new community we discussed about the seasons and Bear concluded he liked Summer the most while I enjoy Fall. We both enjoy this song: https://youtu.be/JxOMEUYK A very important video can be found at: https://youtu.be/UQjT5uKp2hg which explains why we have seasons. Basically seasons happen because our earth is tilted. As our planet moves around the sun (it takes one year to do so) the part of the earth that is tilted toward the sun will experience summer and while the part of the earth that you live on (Northern Hemisphere vs Southern Hemisphere) is tilted away from the sun you experience winter. When the tilt isn't a complete tilt you have spring and fall weather conditions. There is a free resource on this topic at: https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Why-Earth-Has-Seasons-Reading-Comprehension-Worksheet-Seasons-of-the-Year-6899453

We found the most adorable shop along our journey and a truly lovely shop owner who sells some adorable pumpkins. Barron selected some and we made a little desk display along with a favourite book called Pumpkin Pumpkin by Jeane Titherington. There is a lovely video we enjoy each year about Pumpkins however I think Barron is the most perfect pumpkin to pick to have in any patch: https://youtu.be/TJgPEcf5oGs

We found a talented creator who offers a variety of products on pumpkins at an affordable price. We chose this one and you can obtain a copy too for close to 2.00CDN at: https://www.etsy.com/dk-en/listing/1091741814/pumpkin-varieties-mini-lesson?click_key=d80493b4d14bc52979e5a42c84ffe119aedb8036%3A1091741814&click_sum=b86edb21&ga_search_query=pumpkin&ref=shop_items_search_5

We found a lovely pumpkin at the Beaches Fire Station and Barron did a lovely pose:

Along Kingston Rd there was this nicely decorate restaurant:
