We also purchased a basketball, football, and soccer and spent some time playing as a family.

Friday September 29 is Michaelmas Day and we created some nice daisies inspired by the talented people at: https://thiscraftyfamily.com/03/29/paper-daisy-craft/ We also made a leaf dragon taught by the most unique creative souls at:https://myriadonline.co.uk/blog/michaelmas-leaf-dragons

We were able to find an interesting thought about Michaelmas, "This time of year we celebrate the Harvest and Michaelmas. We hear and tell stories about Saint Michael helping the people of the village tame the dragon. Saint Michael is a symbol of good triumphing over evil, courage over cowardice. The celebration of this holiday teaches the importance of facing fears and strengthening resolve. The most important thing to keep in mind is that we all face difficulties in life, both external and internal, and somehow we must find the courage and strength to prevail." We read the story of George and the Dragon and the poems and aongs for celebrating and understanding this day.

Harvest Moon occured September 29 and we could not find ours to share a picture, we went out at 7:45pm and where was no moon anywhere. Since we missed the moon I thought this bookmark which I gifted Barron for this occassion was suitable, "Shoot for the moon if you miss you will land among the stars."
