Sometimes when you think you have not much to give you must remember your value, if you can help at anytime that's a way to show you are kind. Barron has been very kind and although we are not sharing our kindness on this webpage to brag only to inspire and create more kindness from ourselves and in others we hope you can do a few of these too:
- return a customer or two's carts so someone has a place to park with ease and that person who has to retrieve the carts has a moment of less work.
- write a nice note in a book (donate some books to a free community library)
- create a book mark in a book to comfort someone
- on some donated food (perhaps hot chocolate as a warm drink is appreciated) write a warm note such as We Are With You. We donated some reese puff cereal.
- feed some birds and squirrels, they have families too and struggle finding food sources in winter and they bring so much joy.
- plant virtual trees like us (visit our #teamtrees post)
- leave some coupons in the store for others to use
- donate at self checkouts to organizations (usually 2.00 to feed the children)
- purchase items that has the profits going to an organization such as Tim Horton's E-Book.
- pay for someone behind you in a shopping line, even if it is just a pack of socks.
- write a letter and send some stickers to struggling children: https://www.postpals.co.uk/find-pals/ we did this for an entire year in 2022 and for the summer of 2023.
- drop off some clothes or household goods that you no longer need.
- thank an author for their shared treasures; Barron wrote Karen Yan Glaser at: KARINA YAN GLASER PO BOX 1017 NEW YORK, NY 10037 USA or email her at http://www.karinaglaser.com/contact
- donate some coins at your favourite coffee shop checkout coinbox; Barron supported Tim Horton's camp for kids in august when he enjoyed his favourite four cheese bagel.
- write a note or leave somethinf helpful in a library book, we left seeds and a piece of cardboard in one.
